Guide of the Race

Organized by: Treenitus NGO (www.treenitus.eu) together with Skechers, Sauga Black House and other supporters.

Purpose:

to introduce local sports tracks to the community;
to promote sporty lifestyle;
to continue the tradition of the event;
to gather sports enthusiasts from all over Estonia.

Location: in front of Sauga Black House (Põõsalinnu 2, Sauga, Tori parish, Pärnu county, Estonia) and its surrounding streets, trails.

Time: May 11, 2024

Start: 12.00 in front of Sauga Black House. The walkers start from the end of the line of runners.

Course: 5 and 10 km run-walk on alternating terrain (tracks, asphalt roads). The run-walk takes place in a 5 km course, which the 10 km participants complete twice.

Service on the course: the competition course is marked. There is a fluid station on the course (at 2.5 km, at a distance of 5 km, at 2.5 and 7.5 km at a distance of 10 km).

Timing: chip timing is used, publication of results is ensured on site. The timing chip is attached to the back of the bib, which does not need to be returned to the organizer.

Age groups (10 km run-walk):

Age groups (5 km run-walk) – M (men), N (women).

Children under the age of 10 can participate with their parents' permission!

Registration:

pre-registration www.treenitus.eu until 09 of May at 23.59.
on the day of the race (11th of May) in the race centre at 10.00-11.45.

Late arrivals cannot be served! The participant receives the starting materials on the day of the competition from the secretariat (located in the race centre). Starting materials are issued from 10:00 a.m. until the start time of the race.

15% discount for companies/clubs/collectives starting from the 4th member (for each subsequent member). The discount is valid if at least 4 members register at the same time. Double discounts do not apply!

A participant is considered registered upon filling out the registration form and paying the participation fee.

Participation fee (5 and 10 km run-walk):

The participation fee includes: a specially designed participant medal, bib number, chip timing, service on the course, medical assistance if necessary, luggage storage, changing facilities, washing facilities, free parking, toilet use, sports drink, Skechers running t-shirt, products from supporters.

In case of cancellation, the participation fee will not be refunded. In case of non-participation in the run/walk, please inform the organizer!

Award ceremony: At 12:45 p.m. there will be an award ceremony for the 5 km distance, at 1:30 p.m. for the 10 km distance. The overall top three in the 10 km race will be awarded, as well as the winner of the age groups, the overall top three (men, women) will be awarded in the 5 km race. Raffle prizes.

Children's races:

Boys and girls (up to 3 year olds, 4-6 year olds, 7-9 year olds, 10-12 year olds). Starts from 10:30 a.m. in front of Sauga Black House, distance approx. 400 m. Pre-registration online (until 09th of May) and in the race centre on the day of the competition (11th of May). No participation fee!

Safety: Each competitor participates in the run/walk at their own risk. Competitors are obliged to follow the traffic rules and the notices from the organizers. Medical assistance is provided at the competition center.

Photos and video recordings: the organizer has the right to use and publish all photos and video recordings taken by the organizer for marketing purposes.

Right of the organizer: The start and finish protocols of the Sauga Spring Run/Walk are public documents. The organizer is only responsible for the correctness of the information published in its official information channels (webpage, Facebook, Youtube).

All questions not defined in the guide of the race, will be resolved by the organizer. The organizer has the right to change the conditions listed in the guide if the situation requires it.

By registering and paying the participation fee, the participant:

Agrees to this guide and the conditions established by the organizer;

Agrees that his personal data will be used in accordance with laws and regulations;

Agrees to be sent an e-mail containing important information for the participant before the event (participant's reminder);

Confirms that he is sufficiently trained and healthy to participate in the sporting event.
